Serang, February 2025 – The University of Pamulang (UNPAM) Serang has successfully implemented the Pre-UAPS (Pre-Ujian Akhir Program Studi) activities for the Mechanical Engineering study program for the 2024-2025 academic year. This initiative is part of the university’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the academic development of its students and preparing them for the final program examinations that are essential for their graduation.
The Pre-UAPS activities were held with the aim of providing students with the necessary support and preparation in anticipation of the final program examinations. The event also serves as a platform for bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring that students are well-equipped to excel in their future careers in the engineering field.
The event kicked off with a series of workshops and seminars conducted by experienced faculty members from the Mechanical Engineering department. These sessions covered a wide range of topics, from advanced mechanical engineering principles to practical industry-related skills. The students had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities and gain insights into the latest developments in the field.

In addition to the technical workshops, the Pre-UAPS program also included motivational talks from industry professionals. These talks focused on the importance of a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the need for continuous learning in the ever-evolving engineering sector. The students were encouraged to view the Pre-UAPS as an essential step towards shaping their future careers.
One of the key highlights of the event was the collaborative project where students were divided into groups and tasked with designing and constructing a mechanical prototype. This project not only tested their technical skills but also their ability to work together, manage time, and solve complex engineering problems – crucial competencies for success in the industry.
The program also emphasized the development of soft skills, including communication, leadership, and problem-solving. Students were provided with opportunities to engage in group discussions and presentations, which helped improve their confidence in articulating their ideas and solutions effectively.
As the event concluded, the faculty members expressed their pride in the students’ progress and dedication throughout the Pre-UAPS activities. The students left the program feeling more confident and prepared to tackle their final examinations and take on the challenges that await them in the professional world. UNPAM Serang continues to prioritize the holistic development of its students, equipping them with both the technical expertise and essential soft skills needed to excel in the competitive field of mechanical engineering. The university is optimistic that the 2024-2025 Pre-UAPS activities will play a significant role in shaping the future of its graduates.
